At a Glance
I am an Engineering Science student at the University of Toronto building a strong foundation in engineering principles and problem solving. Everything I do leans into my long-term focus on Emergency Medicine. I'm driven by the goal to bring technical perspectives from engineering to frontline care in emergency medicine.
Outside being a student, I teach first aid and swim instruction supervise high-volume aquatic environments as a lifeguard. In my spare time, I stay active in music and media production, being a bassist and music producer.
My Position as an Engineering Student
Brief summary of my position. The complete version (all sections, same material as the PDF) is on my profile.
My practice as an engineering designer is driven by the principle that technical solutions only gain meaning when validated by the communities they serve. Informed by my frontline experience in emergency first aid and aquatic supervision, I recognize that stakeholders often operate under intense cognitive load and bounded rationality.
Therefore, I approach every problem with an agnostic lens, accepting that mathematical models are inherently incomplete simplifications of complex human realities. Ultimately, I operate as a learner first to build sustainable, analytically sound systems that remain genuinely usable under pressure.
